Cambridge University Press - events celebrate 425 years...
Staff garden party
Around 1,550 members of staff, their families and friends came to this party in an
elegant outdoor garden venue in Cambridge.
Party guests were greeted by nine-foot tall golden satyrs and, with many of the children dressed
as fairies and storybook characters, the atmosphere was truly magical.
A Fairy Trail led to Fairy Workshops for the little ones and the older children enjoyed giant
versions of games such as chess and Twister on the lawns.
Specially guided tours of the gardens were organised and music was provided by the Press Choir and Britten Sinfonia.
WvN Marketing's role in the event included:
- Creating the theme for the evening
- Researching and booking the entertainment
- Entertainment liaison at the event
- Logistics and supplier management
- Helping to organise the invites and internal promotion for the event
