Cambridge University Press - events celebrate 425 years...
Music and a lecture on "Anniversaries" - Britten Sinfonia and David Crystal
Language expert, David Crystal, paid a flying visit to Cambridge to deliver a lecture taking a light-hearted
look at the subject of anniversaries.
Passionate about English and its many uses around the world, David is often the expert on TV and
radio programmes about language and he is a regular contributor to internet discussions.
David spoke to an invited audience of nearly 400 customers, VIPs and Press staff at the West Road Concert Hall.
The evening also featured anniversary-themed music from the Britten Sinfonia, an arts partner of the Press.
WvN Marketing managed the event by:
- Organising the guest list and invites
- Coordinating the client, venue, guest speakers and orchestra
- Managing the running order and ensuring all staff involved were fully briefed
- Organising and managing the audio visual company who were brought in to film the event
- Managing all logistics for the event
